Information about the KaREF company

KAREF this company was established in Austria in 2004 as a Limited company. The reason for doing so was the aim to give European steelworks the possibillity to experience good quality products from China. Starting with just the support from a few Austrian clients, now we also have contacts with factories all over Europe. Starting from next year on we also want to expand our services to the Tchech and the Slovac Republic
 

In order to know what is going on at the international steel market we regulary attend fairs meetings and seminars. Therefore we can provide a better service to our customers and suppliers. We making a lot of contact with new customers as well.

The next step is to bring our customers to the factories and to work on the mutual understanding and cooperation.

The Austrian delegation had an unforgetable Lunch in the mountains of Yangquan. The management of the plant made wonderful noodles and other dishes all by themselves. Their hospitality impressed us very much.

The so called "ISPM-15" chop.

1. All goods on pallets which are shipped to Europe have to be marked with this kind of stamp. It is strictly controlled and if pallets are found without the mark it has expensive consequences for us and the customers.

The ideal packing.

This is the ideal packing for Refractories going overseas! Please note that the protection material of the edges is not metal so it can not corrode! Also between the single layers of bricks is a cardbord inserted.
 

In June 2007 was the METEC in Düsseldorf. This is the most important fair for Refractories in Germany. I am planning to put here a few impressions from the fair.
